The Tumbleweed Twilight Zone was a monthly print newsletter we mailed out in the mid-to-late 90s to keep friends, family, and supporters up to date on what was going on with my music, travels, and escapades.  Even as The Internet was coming into its own, many folks would get the TTZ and hang it up on their refrigerator door to remind them that I was playing Naomi's Lounge in Deep Ellum Friday night.

Not long before the turn of the millennium, email became a much more timely (and cost-effective) way to reach folks... so the old TTZ newsletter died of attrition, and we started sending email bulletins to a growing list of people throughout the U.S. - and Texas, too.  Over the years the list has grown exponentially, and we have struggled to keep track of bounced email addresses, changed email addresses, people who've asked to be taken the $#@% off the list, and the breakneck pace of technology, along with its incomprehensible tangle of privacy, security, and anti-spam laws and regulations... whew!

So, in the interest of (a) making the broadcast of an ongoing newsletter more manageable and less time-consuming, (b) offering a new and truly improved version of the old hum-drum plain-text newsletter, and (c) ensuring we are in compliance with current anti-spam laws... we are proud to announce the (re)launch of The Tumbleweed Twilight Zone (email version), an eNewsletter delivered to your inbox every... week, bi-week, month... well, every time we have something worthwhile to report.

The TTZ will feature news, performance schedule info, release info, etc... all in a graphical hypertext format (for those with HTML email enabled).  And most importantly, subscribers to The Tumbleweed Twilight Zone will be given special treatment.  You will have access to exclusive music downloads (for instance, outtake recordings from BB's upcoming American Junkyard CD), merchandise discounts, etc., all for the price of a few clicks and keystrokes to...
